Into a World of Darkness and Neon - A Journey into the "Future of LA" in 2019 Ridley Scott's masterpiece "Blade Runner" (1982) has left its mark on the history of cinema. The film's massive worldview, the futuristic city of Los Angeles enveloped in rain and neon lights, and the majestic sounds of Vangelis...these are just a few of the many elements that make Blade Runner a classic. And the one-of-a-kind world created by Harrison Ford's Deckard, Rutger Hauer, Daryl Hannah, and others is still loved around the world more than 40 years later. To commemorate the release of "Blade Runner 2049," Dreams Come Tours is offering a "Holy Land Pilgrimage" tour of famous locations in LA where scenes were actually filmed in honor of the original film. With the theme song from the movie as background music, you will be transported to the world of Blade Runner as you drive through the Port of Long Beach, Terminal Island, and the Port of San Pedro. This special tour is recommended not only for movie fans, but also for those who want to experience the deep charm of LA. Examples of places to visit Bradbury Building The most famous filming location for "Blade Runner. J.F. Sebastian's apartment. The location of the climactic battle scenes of Deckard vs. Pris and Deckard vs. Bhatti. The majestic steel staircase and elevator, just as in the movie, are a sight to behold. The building has also been used for "Se7en" and music videos by 80's artists, and is a symbol of movie culture. Million Dollar Theater Located directly across from the Bradbury Building, the Million Dollar Theater is a historical movie theater with beautiful neon lights. The atmosphere of the "motley streets of a futuristic city" that appears in the medieval world can be felt as it is in this theater. Union Station This is the location where the memorable scene where Gaff appears while Deckard is slurping noodles and is taken away was filmed. It was also used as a set for the LAPD headquarters. Ennis House The building where Deckard's home is located. It is a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed architectural masterpiece, and its unique textile blocks enhance the atmosphere of the film. Second Street Tunnel The tunnel appears in the scene where Deckard drives his car. The white arched walls are impressive, and it was later used as a filming location for many science fiction movies. The Westin Bonaventure Hotel The hotel's futuristic exterior fits perfectly with the world of the movie. It is a famous filming location that may have served as the model for the elevator that appears in the film. Night view of the Long Beach industrial area The "futuristic city of fire and smoke" at the beginning of the movie was filmed in Hong Kong, but the actual setting is the industrial area of Long Beach. The night view is exactly like that of Blade Runner. Warner Bros. Studio This tour includes a stop at the famous Hollywood studio where many scenes were filmed. Attractions of the tour Experience the world of Blade Runner "in the flesh". Visit deep spots in Los Angeles, such as night views, harbor areas, and historical architecture, which are not included in general tours. Guided tours with behind-the-scenes stories and filming secrets of the movie This course is very popular among movie lovers, photography lovers, and art lovers.
